Therapeutic Approach
Psychodynamic & Psychoanalytic
My practice is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy and informed by psychoanalytic theory. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, psychodynamic therapy helps individuals develop a deeper understanding of the unconscious patterns, defense mechanisms, attachment styles, and early life experiences that continue to shape their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Through greater self-awareness and insight, patients often experience healthier relationships, increased emotional freedom, and lasting psychological change.
Specialties & Expertise
-
My primary areas of specialty include working with patients impacted by narcissistic relationships, as well as those experiencing anxiety, depression, and self-esteem concerns.
-
Additional areas of expertise include working with patients experiencing relationship difficulties, codependency, borderline personality disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, as well as other life stressors that may be impacting relationships and everyday functioning.
Appointments & Fees
I provide individual psychotherapy for adults throughout Kentucky. My practice is designed for individuals seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, relationships, and the underlying patterns that contribute to emotional distress.
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly; however, I am happy to provide a superbill upon request that patients may submit to their insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Free 15-minute consultations are available for prospective patients to determine whether my therapeutic approach and areas of specialization are a good fit for their needs.
